The federal Liberal government is unveiling a national strategy on dementia today.
The announcement is being made by Federal Health Minister, Ginette Petitpas Taylor.
Beginning this year, Ottawa will be investing $50 million over the next five years towards this new strategy.
It will focus on prevention, raising awareness, fighting the stigma attached to the disease, and risk reduction among other initiatives.
