Toronto Police have launched a week long blitz targeting preventable and unacceptable encounters with vulnerable road users that result in deaths and serious injuries.
Toronto Police traffic Sergeant Brett Moore says while collisions are inevitable, the causes of some are preventable. The aim is to have zero injuries and deaths on our streets.
Last year there were 41 pedestrian fatalities on city streets, half of those killed were 55-years-old or older. Libby will be joined by Toronto Police Traffic Services to learn more.
