NDP MPP Gurratan Singh, the Auto Insurance Critic recently introduced a bill aimed at ending automobile insurance discrimination in the GTA, lowering prices for thousands of GTA families. Singh’s bill amends the Insurance Act to prevent insurance companies from charging GTA residents different insurance rates solely because of where they live within the region. But, the Ford Conservatives voted against any effort to make auto insurance more affordable. Libby spoke with NDP MPP Gurratan Singh and Lawyer Savannah Chorney from Sokoloff Law.
