On Monday, Canadians witnessed a partial solar eclipse, where the sun is partially blocked by the moon. The Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO), urged Canadians to use a few simple safety tips, to avoid any temporary or permanent eye damage. “The eclipse is an exciting event and we urge Canadians to enjoy the spectacle while keeping their eyes safe” says CAO Past-president Dr. Kirsten North.
