It’s been a very hot summer here in Ontario, which has environmental group Wellington Water Watchers are urging the Ontario government not to renew the Nestle permit saying “water should be for life, not for profit”. A number of big water companies have people concerned because it’s become more and more evident that they’ve taken water – a resource and turned it into a corporate brand for profit. But, should we continue to allow this? Jane Brown speaks with Wellington Water Watchers spokesperson Mike Nagy and a representative from Nestle Canada.
