All this coming weekend, the TIFF Lightbox is hosting the Toronto Irish Film Festival.

 

TIRFF was awarded “Partner” status with the Toronto International Film Festival in February 2016 and is now in its 8th year.

The festival targets the 250,000 Torontonians who claim Irish heritage as well as Toronto’s thousand’s of movie lovers.

Organizers also say the festival provides a unique cultural destination for Irish ex-pats to reconnect with the culture of Ireland through the magic of cinema.
