Repairs and replacements mean more subway issues for Toronto commuters.

If you usually commute on the TTC’s Bloor Danforth Line 2 there is no service west of Jane this morning because of a track level fire yesterday at Islington Station.

TTC Spokesperson Stewart Greene says the fire caused enough equipment damage it may take a couple of days to fully restore service.

Shuttle buses are currently running along Bloor St. between Kipling and Jane.

And there will be no subway service on the Yonge University Line Saturday between Davisville and York Mills because of track work

Shuttle buses will operate in place of the train with full service expected to be restored Sunday at 8 am.
