Former South African President Nelson Mandela has come full circle.
The anti-apartheid hero has been buried on the family compound on the rolling hills of Qunu, the village in eastern South Africa where he grew up.
More than four thousand attended the memorial service, including Prince Charles, businessman Richard Branson and Oprah Winfrey.
Over 400 were at the gravesite service.
Granddaughter Nandi Mandela told the service her grandfather’s kind gestures made all those around him want to do good.
