Ontario’s Ministry of Labour is investigating the latest incident of falling glass in downtown Toronto.
For the second time this year, glass has fallen from the Trump Tower at Bay and Adelaide and showered the street below.
Police Sergeant Shaun Elliot says a construction crew was replacing a 24-square-foot pane of glass when it came loose, striking a second pane that also became dislodged.
Two cars were slightly damaged, but no one was injured.
Management of the Trump Tower insists the building is sound. They say they are cooperating in the investigation.
