We’re learning more about the cause of death of Fleetwood Mac stalwart Christine McVie.

She died in November of last year at the age of 79.

At the time the cause of death was not released; her family saying only that she had passed away peacefully after a short illness.

Now, a death certificate says the singer and keyboardist’s death was caused by a stroke and that she had also been diagnosed with cancer.

At the Grammy’s this year, Mick Fleetwood said as a result of McVie’s passing, the band would probably never perform live again.
