Just like last year, concerns over rising COVID counts are now impacting major movie releases.
The spike in the COVID cases, being driven by the rapid spread of the Delta variant, has caused Paramount to postpone the release of “Top Gun; Maverick” from November 19th of this year to next May.
Another Tom Cruise movie, “Mission; Impossible 7,” is also getting pushed back to September 30th of next year.
However, Bond fans can relax. Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007 in “No Time to Die,” remains slated for release in North America on October 8th.
