North Korea wants to prove that it had nothing to do with the cyber attack on Sony that led to the plug being pulled on the movie “The Interview.”   And it wants the U.S. to join it in an investigation.  Otherwise, the isolated dictatorship says there will be serious consequences.

The movie, starring Canadian Seth Rogen and James Franco, is a comedy that depicts a plot to kill North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.  It was to be released Christmas day
The U.S. says the FBI has proven that North Korea was behind the unprecedented attacks on Sony Pictures Entertainment, citing the cyber tools that were used that were compared to previous attacks linked to the North.

A North Korean government spokesman says his government can prove it had nothing to do with the attack, so the U.S. must join it in an investigation.
