Election Day is almost here! With less than a week to go, the polling numbers are coming in fast from all corners.

Libby Znaimer is joined by Erin Kelly, CEO of Advanced Symbolics Incorporated, an Ottawa-based company that created the Polly Pollster AI technology used to predict election results; and Lorne Bozinoff, President of the Forum Research Group to discuss.

ONTARIO RELEASES NEW DETAILS ABOUT PROVING VACCINE STATUS

Ontario has released more details on the COVID-19 vaccine passport.

Effective a week tomorrow, patrons will need to show proof of full vaccination and a piece of ID to enter non-essential settings like restaurants, theatres and gyms.

And the province says it’s on target to introduce a new Q-R code October 22nd that will eventually have medical exemptions embedded.

When asked during a news conference how the new proof of vaccine policy will be enforced, Health Minister Christine Elliott said that, along with bylaw officers…if any businesses feel threatened while attempting to enforce the new vaccine protocols, the province wants them to call 9-1-1.
