LEAD: BUCKINGHAM PALACE LAUNCHES PROBE INTO ALLEGATIONS AGAINST MEGHAN MARKLE

The royal family continues to make headlines this week. Buckingham Palace has launched a probe into allegations that Meghan Markle had bullied staffers. And, Meghan Markle accused Buckingham Palace of “perpetuating falsehoods” about her and Harry. The couple also recently made the decision not to return to their royal duties. Alison weighs in on the apparent strain in relations within the royal family and whether the criticism that Meghan is facing is fair.

SEGMENT 2: NACI RECOMMENDATION TO DELAY SECOND COVID-19 VACCINE DOSES

Dr. Wouters weighs in on the National Advisory Committee on Immunization’s (NACI) recommendation to delay second doses of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines by four months.

SEGMENT 3: ONTARIO’S VACCINE ROLLOUT

Libby Znaimer is joined by Dr. Tia Pham, Lead Physician at South East Toronto Family Health Team (SETFHT) and a member of East Toronto Health Partners and Dr. Gerald Evans, Chair of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Queen’s University.

Dr. Pham details the East Toronto Health Partners strategy of administering vaccines in the community for adults over 80. Meanwhile, Dr. Evans details Kingston’s vaccine rollout and weighs in on Israel’s highly effective rollout strategy.

SEGMENT 4: TORONTO’S VACCINE ROLLOUT

Libby Znaimer is joined by Fire Chief Matthew Pegg, the city’s head of emergency management during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Solicitor General Sylvia Jones has said that the AstraZeneca vaccine will be “very targeted” towards adults between 60-64. This follows the NACI recommendation that doses of this particular vaccine not be administered to those over the age of 65. But how will this decision impact the vaccine rollout here in Toronto for adults over the age of 80?
