There are going to be two public celebrations of the life of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.
His mother, Marilyn O’Conner, says one will be in New York City and one in Rochester, New York. Hoffman grew up just outside of Rochester.
A Rochester newspaper says O’Conner wanted to thank her friends and her son’s fans for all the kind words following his death.
Hoffman was found dead February 2nd in his Greenwich Village apartment from a mix of drugs including cocaine and heroin.
