This week we marked National Family Caregiver Day – a day to honour the familiar way of living for nearly 8 million Canadians across the country who must juggle their work responsibilities and other commitments at home with caregiving duties. Libby talks to Dr. Joshua Tepper, CEO of Health Quality Ontario about why we all have to help make it easier.
Plus – One reason we have so many caregivers is that people are living longer than ever. In fact, centenarians are the second fastest growing demographic. Geriatrician Dr. Paula Rochon has spent a lot of time studying people over the age of 100 and she joins Libby in studio to share her observations.
