For almost two weeks the rocket warning sirens have been ringing regularly in Israel. When they go off, Israelis have mere minutes, some even less, to get themselves to a bomb shelter. Where does that leave the elderly and disabled? Libby is joined by Elie Landau, of the Israeli Pensioners’ Party.
It’s a dilemma that makes the headlines all too often. A patient with a deadly form of cancer can’t get access to a potentially life saving drug. A national drug-approval body was created to prevent that from happening. But now a new report says it is actually delaying the approval of new cancer drugs . Libby will talk about that research with Dr. Nigel Rawson.
