A new report has found that thousands of seniors in Ontario’s nursing homes are on a powerful mix of anti-psychotics and sedatives. These types of drugs can be a very dangerous combination, and many of the prescriptions could be unnecessary. Dr. David Juurlink, co-author of the report, will tell us why this type of over-prescription is happening, and what needs to be done!
Plus, this week Toronto Celebrity Chef Susur Lee opened his newest restaurant. Luckee is his attempt to bring China’s old world cuisine to the modern, setting of Toronto’s Soho Metropolitan Hotel! Libby visited the launch of Luckee and talked to Chef Lee.
