If you have a pet, you know that the vet can prescribe medications to help treat a wide variety of health conditions and concerns. Some of those medications can be similar to the ones you take for your own health conditions – but there are important differences. Many prescription and over the counter medications taken by humans are harmful for your four-legged family members – just like some medications prescribed by your pet’s veterinarian aren’t suitable for human consumption. Pharmacist Dean Miller joins Libby to talk about it.
