The Township of Havelock will be at Queen’s Park this week to rally in support of an application it has made for a long term care home. The application was sent in back in 2011 for a 128 bed home, but the Ministry has yet to approve it. In neighbouring Peterborough County there are nearly 1100 beds, with 2700 people on a wait list. Havelock Township Mayor Ron Gerow joins Libby to talk about it.
