REACTION TO THE FEDERAL BUDGET RELEASED IN OTTAWA THIS WEEK

Canadian Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland released the federal budget this week. The budget is largely aimed at Gen Zs and Millennials as they face an affordability crisis. The budget also includes a disability benefit program that will see $6.1 billion in funding but payouts won’t start until July 2025.
