Celebrations will be much more subdued than planned as the Ed Mirvish Theatre marks its 100th anniversary on Friday, August 28.

It will be the first time since March where the public will get access to the theatre. Mega-hit musical Hamilton was in its run when the pandemic closed it down.
The theatre has changed owners and names over its 100 years. Festivities were originally supposed to include self guided tours and a giant party.
Instead, subscribers will be allowed to sign up in advance for physically distanced tours in groups no larger than 12.
The Hamilton set is still on the stage at the theatre.
