It’s been 45-years since “Born to Run” thrust Bruce Springsteen to global rock music superstardom.
The album, released August 25, 1975, was a critical and commercial success that the career of ‘The Boss.’ Long considered to be one of the best rock and roll albums of all-time, the album peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 list.
The title track is remains iconic but other songs like Thunder Road’ and ‘Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out’ resonate today.
The album has been re-released several times and special homages to the song include the likes of ‘Born to Add’ by Sesame Street.
