There’s just no stopping one of the top hit makers of all time.
Acclaimed composer, songwriter, producer and pianist Burt Bacharach is enjoying a burst of creativity at 92.
His new collaboration with Nashville singer-songwriter Daniel Tashian, ”Blue Umbrella,” a five-song EP comes out Friday.
They finished recording it before the pandemic hit.
When it’s over, they hope to perform the songs in concert and also hope to write and record a full album.
For Bacharach, the composer of ”This Guy’s In Love With You,” ”What the World Needs Now Is Love,” and ”Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head”, among many other hits, ”Blue Umbrella” is his first work in 15 years.
