That according to the latest Angus Reid Institute survey which finds 80% say their situation is ”good”or ”great,” up 7% from early April.
That said, one-in-five continue to feel they’re in ”bad” or ”terrible” shape.
Vulnerability among the one-in-three receiving E-I or the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) is even higher.
Among those who’ve applied, 30% say they’re barely treading water.
Regardless of their situation, 56% don’t see the next 12 months as an ideal time to make a major purchase such as a home or a vehicle.
