Legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli reports he has now recovered from a bout of COVID-19.

Bocelli was outside a hospital in Pisa when he made the announcement.  He was there to donate plasma for coronavirus research.

The 61-year old tested positive on March 10th and suffered only mild symptoms.  He says he kept quiet about the illness “out of respect for those for whom contracting the virus has had more serious consequences.”

He says he fully recovered by the end of March in time to sing in an empty cathedral in Milan on Easter Sunday.
