This year’s annual presentation of the Dora Mavor Moore Awards, which celebrate the performing arts in Toronto, will be a virtual affair, on line, June 29th.

That was the date the in-person awards ceremony was to have been held, but the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the change. The winners in theatre, opera and dance will be announced on the Dora Awards YouTube channel.

Of the productions registered for the Doras, 85 per cent were able to proceed during the 2019-20 season before the pandemic caused Toronto’s theatres to close.

Nominees will be announced online June 3rd along with further details about the ceremony.
