Canadian Broadway star Nick Cordero has tested positive for COVID-19 in a Los Angeles hospital where he is reportedly unconscious and on a ventilator.
The Hamilton-born – Ryerson University-trained singer and actor was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in “Bullets Over Broadway.”
His wife, Amanda Kloots took to Twitter to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
Kloots says Cordero actually tested negative for the virus twice after being admitted to the intensive care unit at Cedars Sinai Hospital with what seemed to be pneumonia a week ago.
But doctors believed it was the coronavirus and did a third test, which came back positive.
