While Doug Ford emerged from his meeting with the prime minister in Ottawa, calling it ”phenomenal” and ”great,” Ontario’s premier also warned ”we’re a big family” that needs to be united.

Ford says like any family ”we may disagree” but that it’s important to give businesses certainty or they’ll leave and invest elsewhere.
”We want them to stay here. It’s absolutely critical we unite the country and we stick together,” added the premier.
Ford says he also told Justin Trudeau that Ottawa needs to listen to the concerns of those in Alberta and Saskatchewan who are ”hurting.”
”We have to find common ground and support our friends out west. We have to calm the temperature, lower the temperature and again, stick together as a country.”
