The union representing 55,000 educational workers in Ontario schools are considering working-to-rule after contract talks with the government broke down Sunday.

The Canadian Union of Public Employees reportedly plans to send a letter to the government and trustees from all school boards giving five days notice of job action.
If sent today that could start Monday.
CUPE’s Laura Walton says workers would not work overtime or perform any extra duties they currently carry out.
The union voted 93% in favour of job action last week, putting them in a legal position to strike next week.
The Ford government’s said it’s looking to keep wage increases for all public sector employees at no more than 1%-per-year the next two years.
