The on-again, off-again ‘Woodstock 50’ Festival could be on again!

The festival, which has faced a series of setbacks, including the main venue, Watkins Glen, pulling out earlier this month, cloud be staged at an up-state New York horse race track and casino.

“Woodstock 50” has applied for a permit to hold its mid August concert at Vernon Downs, which is about a half hour east of Syracuse.

The proposed capacity is down to 50,000 from the 150,000 thousand planned for the initial venue.

Town officials say they’re close to signing a letter of intent and could host up to 65,000 people.
