Bob Wilson was at the hospital awaiting surgery in Hamilton after suffering a brain injury from a fall down the stairs at his Burlington home in November.
But because he was unable to speak, his family had no idea about the bedsore, which was not discovered until Wilson was transferred to Hamilton General Hospital.
Saying the past six months have been emotionally draining, Linda Moss, one of Wilson’s three daughters says things might have turned out differently had they only known what their father was dealing with.
