Despite humble beginnings, Ford Fest is now an annual event that attracts thousands and this year, the annual family barbecue will be taken on the road once again.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Markham Fairgrounds on June 22nd.

Premier Ford is urging members of Ford Nation to register in advance to guarantee their spot and facilitate a quick admittance.

Last year’s event was held in Vaughan, however, for 20 years prior to that, the get together was held in Ford’s mother’s backyard in Etobicoke.
