On his way into the Liberal caucus meeting, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he welcomes former cabinet ministers Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott to remain part of caucus, but afterward Trudeau announced he was losing one female member.

Whitby MP Celina Caesar-Chavannes has quit to sit as an Independent.
She had recently told Trudeau that she did not plan to seek re-election this October and alleged he became hostile and yelled at her.
The Prime Minister’s Office maintains he displayed ”absolutely no hostility” during their exchange.
Conservative House Leader Candice Bergen says this is just more evidence that Trudeau’s a ”fake feminist”.
