Whether it was playing Dylan McKay in the 1990’s hit show Beverly Hills 90210 or his more recent role on the drama Riverdale, Luke Perry was loved by fans and colleagues around the world. Monday, less than a week after suffering a massive stroke, the 52 year-old actor passed away, surrounded by his family.

Perry’s publicist Arnold Robinson said in a statement that no other details regarding his passing will be released at this time but added, “The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning.

While Perry hadn’t committed to the redo of 90210, he shot a scene for  Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” which is

set for release in July.
