After all 21 were sworn-in during a ceremony inside the legislative building before family, friends and colleagues, Ford re-affirmed his oath on the steps of the legislature and then spoke to the hundreds gathered on the front lawn in the intense midday heat – many of them waving Ford signs and t-shirts.
”You believed as a province we can do better. You gave us a clear mandate and you gave us the tools to deliver on a plan. A plan that puts you first. A plan for the people of Ontario (cheers)”.
