With the popularity of on-demand streaming services convincing so many to stay home to watch movies, Cineplex has started offering delivery of concession stand snacks like popcorn, hot dogs, candy, nachos and soft drinks in partnership with Uber Eats.

The plan, which the company calls its ‘Cineplex Movie Night In Combo’, is available in 60 communities throughout Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and B.C including Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, but parts of downtown Toronto will be left out because some theatre concession stands are not easily accessible for Uber Eats drivers.

If this takes off, customers may see new treats available for delivery.
