AYKROYD NAMED TO THE ORDER OF ONTARIO

Comedian Dan Aykroyd is among 23 people who have been named to the Order of Ontario.
The 65 year old was born in Ottawa and made his name as an original member of Saturday Night Live before going on to star in a number of iconic movies including “The Blues Brothers”, “Ghostbusters” and “Trading Places.”
Aykroyd is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Joining Aykroyd on the Order of Ontario list is the internationally renowned pediatrician Doctor Upton Allen.
Others named include science-fiction author Robert J. Sawyer and mental health advocate Dr. Dorothy Cotton.
