”We know how frustrating potholes are for drivers and cyclists, and we are deploying extra resources on the task of improving our roads to ensure a smoother commute,” said Mayor John Tory.
On a typical day, 25 crews would be repairing potholes, but during the blitz, there’ll be 55.
A similar blitz last weekend saw workers fill over 15,000 across the city.
Between January 1 to 24, they have filled 25,532 potholes.
