Ontario’s P.C.s are gathering in Toronto for a major policy convention this weekend. Leader Patrick Brown expects to cement some of the planks in the party’s platform for next spring’s provincial election and will deliver the convention’s keynote address.
Among the issues the provincial Tories will wrestle with is “electricity” including changes to electricity bills and a ban on selling any more shares in Hydro One.
The party has been criticized for not releasing specific policy solutions to problems it consistently slams the government on; in particular rising electricity prices.
