The November 28 event will be hosted by the Economic Club of Canada and Plan International Canada.
ECC president Rhiannon Traill says 3,000 tickets will be sold for the ”fireside chat-style” conversation.
Each buyer will actually purchase a pair with one being given to a young person between 14 and 24.
For example, if a company buys a table for 10, half the tickets would go to employees and the other half to youth.
Any young people who wish to attend will be able to apply through a site being set up by Plan International Canada.
”The only thing I really didn’t want to happen was to have a bunch of Bay Street corporate leaders only bringing their children,” said Traill.
