Called Life’s Simple 7, they include four ideal behaviours and three ideal health factors to maintain a healthy heart.
The behaviours are: not smoking, being physically active, eating a healthy diet and maintaining a Body Mass Index lower than 25.
The other factors are: an untreated blood pressure of less than 120 over 80, untreated total cholesterol of less than 200 and fasting blood glucose of less than 100.
