Fans of all things Bach may want to head for Vancouver next week when he and his legacy take over the heart of the city.

The Bach Festival kicks off Tuesday of next week with a performance of Bach’s Cellos Suites

Early Music Vancouver has put together an array of more than 60 world-class artists who will celebrate Bach’s masterpieces and his impressive legacy.

Between next Tuesday and August 11th there are 14 concerts scheduled that take Bach and the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s Protestant Reformation as their inspiration.
