We’re being battered by brutal winter weather again.
An intense band of snow from Lake Huron is moving southward across Peel and Halton regions – into the Burlington area this evening.
And a second band of lake effect snow from Georgian Bay has moved into the Oshawa area – and is slowly drifting west towards the Toronto and Vaughn area.
Local snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are possible this evening – with zero visibility in bursts of heavy snow and local blowing snow – but the snow bands are expected to weaken later this evening as winds diminish.
