FLORENCE HENDERSON AKA CAROL BRADY, DEAD AT 82

She will be forever remember as Carol Brady the mom of The Brady Bunch.  Florence Henderson has died at the age of 82.

Henderson passed away last night, one day after being admitted to a Los Angeles Hospital.  The cause of dead is given as heart failure.
Henderson was a Broadway star before becoming a TV Icon having originated the title role of “Fanny” on the Great White Way.
“The Brady Bunch” ran from 1969 to 1974 and spawned made-for-television movies, a variety show, and a weekend morning cartoon series.  But Henderson said in a 2008 interview that she didn’t mind having Carol Brady be her signature role because of the love she received.
In recent years Henderson appeared on “The Surreal Life” and “Dancing With the Stars” and hosted “Country Kitchen” on The Nashville Network.
Florence Henderson was 82.
