The Paris concert venue where 90 people died during the Paris terror attacks a year ago reopened over the weekend with English singer/songwriter Sting headlining a memorial concert.
Speaking in French, Sting told the audience at the Bataclan, including survivors, that they must honour the dead and celebrate life. Then there was a moment of silence to commemorate all 130 who died in Paris one year ago yesterday.
Sting is donating the proceeds from the show to two survivors’ charities and promising those who died will not be forgotten.
