Director Ron Howard has unearthed a treasury of previously unseen footage of the band as well as material from John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono for “Eight Days a Week;  The Touring Years.”
It’s the first authorized portrait of the Fab Four in almost half a century and follows the band on the road for four years.
“Eight Days a Week” is being released in theatres for special one-off screenings this Thursday.  It goes into wide release Friday.
