Everyone’s on high alert, especially in the wake of the massacre at the gay nightclub in Orlando and Pride month in Toronto, but it turned out to be nothing.
No one was taking chances earlier Monday though as police started getting reports just after 9am that a suspicious person was on the U of T’s downtown campus.
Schools, government buildings and area hospitals were either partially or fully locked down until the all clear was given after 3pm.
But the suspicious person, photographed wearing a mask, dark clothing, carrying a black backpack and possibly a gun, was never spotted by the officers.
