The pride of Consort, Alberta, is to be honoured next month by the Royal Conservatory of Music.

k.d. lang will be named a Fellow of the The Royal Conservatory at the organizations gala fundraising event. “The Royal Occasion”.

Lang will be feted along with concert pianist Jon Kimura Parker and the grant-giving W. Garfield Weston Foundation May 12th.

The 54-year old singer/songwriter is a four time Grammy award winner and an Officer of the Order of Canada.
