Tom Mulcair’s back in the Commons two days after the NDP rank and file voted at its weekend convention in Edmonton to replace their federal leader.
He led opposition calls for Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould to return money from a Toronto fundraiser she attended last week.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau came to her defence, saying she did nothing wrong and that the Liberals follow all the rules.
Meanwhile, one of the more prominent members of the NDP may seek the leadership.
B.C. MP Nathan Cullen, first elected in 2004, says he’s talking it over with family.
He finished third behind Mulcair in the party’s leadership race in 2012.
The NDP caucus meets Wednesday as usual but the gathering may be somewhat awkward given the circumstances.
